Mixel Pixel é uma banda de indie pop, um pouco experimental, de New York, EUA.
Formada em 1995, a banda já lançou quase 10 álbuns, mas nunca atingiu seu merecido sucesso.
Conheci a banda em 2008, por acaso, enquanto fuçava no Hype Machine. Até hoje, fiquei só com um álbum no PC, mas me perguntando, porque não ir atras de informações sobre o que estavam fazendo nos últimos tempos. Eis que buscas na web me retornaram o BandCamp oficial deles, com downloads gratuitos de discos lançados em março e em junho ainda esse ano.
O que me levou a fazer uploads dos seus álbuns foi a vontade de compartilhar com vocês esse som único, mas cheio de referências que nos associam a várias bandas Indies mais famosas.
